Hi everyone, welcome to our website. This is not a 'Media Bulletin' but it most certainly is a Miracle Bulletin. Imagine God choosing us to share His love, His grace, His Patience, HIS ’VISION’, and that’s what Crossroads is, God’s Vision. God called me and my wife to open a place for Christians who were going nowhere, to give them another chance, not another church, and that took place in May 22nd 1994. That’s the miracle He called me. I wouldn’t have, but He did.
And so basically that’s our beginning, our beginning is Obedience. I tell you this, obedience opens more doors than we can ever imagine. He then directed us by His Spirit to an incredibly beautiful location on a hill overlooking Belfast Lough where we share premises with others and have been for almost 17 years. We will be forever grateful for their generous offer of shared accommodation.
During our time here we have seen God do amazing things that we only ever read of in His Word or in some Christian books. What I won’t do now is boast about some of these things but it is my prayer for us “all to believe“, Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today and forever. And now we share our mission statement which is Luke Ch 4 verses 18-19, and still is, amen.
“The spirit of the Lord is upon me...“ - It should be personal: Our service is founded upon a living relationship with God, through the Holy Spirit, obtained for us through the death, resurrection and exaltation of the Lord Jesus Christ“...because He has anointed me..." - It should be spiritual: We seek to do it in His power, not on our own
“...to preach good news to the poor.“ - It should be practical: There is no better way to help those in need
“He has sent me to heal the broken-hearted“ - It should be compassionate: It reaches out to those whose lives are shattered
Read more...In the midst of these 17 years I then got a vision from God to move location and unknown to me it was literally just over the other side of the hill where Craigantlet Mission Hall had been for the last 92 years and was the casualty of 'wear and tear'. We were offered that hallowed land to build a place of our own, which humbled us with the thought of carrying on an incredible work which is actually now in it's centenary year in February 2011. We took up the gauntlet, got a builder, got planning, got water where there never was water before and have now laid the foundations in February 2011. My vision also has a voice and it speaks,"Without Debt", so God has promised us an exact amount of £400,000 and for that we wait prayerfully. So there you are, and once again, welcome to our Miracle Site.
